Macro’s Three Technological Achievements Recognized as Reaching International Leading/Advanced Level

Recently, Macro achieved a major breakthrough in technological R&D. Three technological achievements, led and developed by Macro, have successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal organized by the China National Light Industry Council. Among them, the key technology of micro-nano hydrogen-oxygen bubble bath for gas water heaters and the key technology of energy storage and heat exchange for electric water heaters were recognized as reaching the international leading level, while the key technology of high-efficiency combustion systems for cooktops was recognized as reaching the international advanced level.

 

These three technological achievements not only highlight Macro’s strong innovation capability, but also inject powerful momentum into the technological advancement of the kitchen and bath industry.

Gas Water Heater Micro-Nano Hydrogen and Oxygen Bubble Bath Technology

Internationally Leading Level, Ushering in a New Era of Healthy Bathing

 

Driven by both consumer upgrades and health needs, modern families' pursuit of a bathing experience has evolved from "stable bathing" to "healthy bathing." Bathing water technologies with health benefits have become a new blue ocean in the industry. To meet this demand, Macro collaborated with Wuhan University in a collaborative industry-university-research partnership to develop micro-nano hydrogen and oxygen bubble bath technology for gas water heaters. This technology uses electrolysis to generate bathing water rich in hydrogen and oxygen micro-nano bubbles, providing users with a healthier and more comfortable bathing experience.

 

The project team has successfully tackled core technical challenges in the electrolysis system, including electrolysis efficiency, flow channel design of the electrolysis chamber, and the micro-nano hydrogen-oxygen bubble bathing effect. These advancements have significantly improved electrode lifespan, micro-nano bubble concentration and size, as well as the antioxidant properties of bubble water, redefining the standard of premium bathing experience.

 

Electric Water Heater Energy Storage and Heat Exchange Technology

Internationally Leading Level, Solving Many Industry Challenges

 

The electric water heater industry has long faced challenges such as bulky size, susceptibility to water contamination, and low energy efficiency. Macro's key technology project for electric water heaters, energy storage and heat exchange, offers a novel solution to these problems. Building on an advanced heat exchange philosophy, the project successfully developed a new product category integrating the strengths of instant and storage water heaters.

 

This project utilizes a groundbreaking, open, non-pressurized water tank structure, significantly reducing the thickness and volume of the product, improving space utilization and thermal insulation performance. The innovative dual-cycle heat exchange mechanism inside and outside the tube, enabled by highly efficient coil heat transfer, completely eliminates water quality contamination while significantly improving thermal efficiency and energy storage utilization. Additionally, by integrating electronic thermostatic control and multi-level temperature regulation technologies, the project successfully resolved the traditional conflict between storage volume and hot water capacity, making electric water heaters more efficient and intelligent.

 

Stove High-Efficiency Combustion System Technology

Internationally Advanced Level, Leading the New Trend in Green, Low-Carbon Cooking

 

Focusing on efficient combustion and low carbon emissions in stoves, Macro utilizes high-efficiency ejector technology to enhance ejector premixing performance. Macro has developed high-efficiency combustion and dual flame stabilization technologies, combined with ejectors featuring superior ejector performance, to improve the thermal efficiency of gas stoves. Macro has also developed concentrated-energy disc enhanced thermal reflection technology, which strengthens airflow turbulence by optimizing the structure of a single-layer concentrated-energy disc. The application of these technologies achieves a balance between energy conservation and high-performance combustion, contributing to the development of green kitchens.

 

Currently, health, high energy efficiency, low carbon emissions, and intelligence have become the trends of global industrial development. The breakthroughs in these three technological achievements mark another important milestone for Macro in advancing the kitchen and bathroom industry under the “dual carbon” goals.
